- Eligible EV and hybrid 12V auxiliary battery issues, where the manufacturer’s procedure allows assistance.
- Motorcycles, scooters, campervans and motorhomes with a compatible starting battery and safe access.
- Selected boats, tractors, plant and ride-on mowers once voltage, access and equipment are confirmed.
Limits worth knowing
What we will not do, and what needs checking.
- High-voltage traction batteries are not jump-started, repaired or worked on.
- Some commercial vehicles and machinery use 24V or specialist systems, which must be checked before anyone agrees to attend.
- A jump-start will not cure every fault. A flat battery can have other causes, and a battery check may show replacement is worth considering.
- Leisure batteries in motorhomes are a different system from the starter battery and need checking separately.
