Machine won’t start? Confirm the system first.
Plant, construction and agricultural equipment varies widely. Voltage, starting requirements, site access and authorisation all need confirming before any job is agreed.
Why machinery is different
Confirm before anyone attends.
Voltage and starting needs
Machines may run 12V, 24V or specialist systems. We do not assume 24V capability. Voltage and starting requirements must be confirmed for each machine.
Site and safety
Work needs site authorisation and safe access and working conditions. If the machine cannot be reached safely, or permission is unclear, it may not go ahead.
Checked case by case
Which equipment may be considered.
- Selected plant and construction equipment, such as small excavators, dumpers and telehandlers, where the system is confirmed.
- Agricultural equipment, including tractors, once voltage and access are known.
- Machines parked where the engine bay and battery can be reached safely.
- Sites where the owner or site contact has authorised the visit.
Limits worth knowing
What needs confirming, and what we will not do.
- No assumption that every machine can be assisted. Each is checked individually.
- No assumed 24V capability. If equipment or voltage cannot be confirmed, we may not attend.
- No work without site authorisation, or where access or conditions are unsafe.
- High-voltage or specialist systems are outside what this service offers.
- A jump-start will not cure every fault. Repeated flat batteries may need testing or replacement.
Before you enquire
What to send about the machine.
- Machine make and model
- Battery voltage, and starting requirements if known
- Symptoms: clicking, dead dash, slow crank or nothing
- Location with a postcode, and how to get to the machine
- Who can authorise access, and any site rules
- A contact number

Straight answers
Questions on this page.
Anything else, include it in your enquiry.
Can you assist 24V machinery?
Not by assumption. We must confirm the equipment, voltage, safe procedure and capability before agreeing to attend.
What if I do not know the voltage?
Say so and send the make and model. It must be confirmed before any job is agreed.
Do I need permission to have work done on site?
Yes. Site authorisation is needed, along with safe access and working conditions.
Which machines are suitable?
Selected plant, construction and agricultural equipment, checked individually. Listing a type is not a guarantee.
Can you tell me how to jump-start it myself?
We do not give DIY jump-start instructions. Check the manufacturer’s guidance or send an enquiry.
Send the make, model and voltage.
Suitability is confirmed before work is agreed.
