What the price covers

Jump-start attendance, not a repair.

You are paying for us to come out, check what is sensible, and make a safe attempt to get you going.

Included

  • Basic battery and starting-system checks, where suitable
  • A safe jump-start attempt
  • Up to 30 minutes on site, including advice

Not included

  • Full diagnostics
  • Repairs
  • Recovery or towing
  • A replacement battery

Plain terms

This is not no-start, no-fee.

The charge is for attendance and assistance. If the vehicle still will not start, the price agreed beforehand may still be charged.

If we cannot provide the agreed service through our own fault, you are not charged. Your statutory rights are unaffected. Read the service-enquiry terms.

If a battery needs replacing

Planning estimates, not a quote.

A flat battery does not automatically need replacing. A new one is only suggested when a test supports it, and only fitted with your approval.

  • Conventional£160to£220

Standard flooded battery for many older cars without stop-start.

  • EFB£200to£280

Enhanced flooded battery, common on entry-level stop-start.

  • AGM£240to£350

Absorbent glass mat, for many stop-start and higher-demand vehicles.

Each estimate is a local daytime total including one attendance, straightforward fitting, and battery registration where your vehicle needs it and our equipment covers it, confirmed first.

No double call-out. If replacement happens on the same visit, the full call-out is not charged again. An additional visit is agreed separately.

Confirmed with your quote: supplier, specification, stock, compatibility and warranty details. These are not guaranteed by an estimate. Your statutory rights are unaffected. How battery testing works.

Price questions.

Is this no-start, no-fee?

No. The price is an attendance and assistance charge. If the vehicle still will not start, the charge agreed beforehand may still apply. If we cannot provide the agreed service through our own fault, you are not charged. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

Is VAT added on top?

No. The business is not VAT registered, so the prices shown are what you pay. No VAT is added.

How do I know if the local price applies?

It covers one vehicle with straightforward access, within five road miles of our Warrington dispatch base. Send your postcode and we confirm eligibility, availability and the full price before you book.

What if I am further out, or it is a bank holiday?

Longer travel, bank holidays and unusual access are quoted separately, before booking. Nothing is added after the fact.

What about cancellations?

Cancellation terms have not yet been set. Ask when you call and we will tell you plainly what applies before you book.

Does a flat battery mean I need a new one?

Not automatically. Batteries go flat for many reasons. A replacement is only suggested when a test supports it, and only fitted if you approve it.
